Two Dimensional Motion Problems

The neigborhood daredevil drives his motorcycle m/s off of a tall building m high. How long does it take for our daredevil friend to land safely on the air bag below? How far from the base of the building should the air bag be placed to ensure his safety?

A clown is shot from a cannon pointed at a degree angle from the ground. The clown is going m/s when she leaves the cannon. How far from the cannon will the clown land?
