Hello smart people! I love physics, but my math skills are high school level at best, and the only training I have under my belt is a couple Brian Greene books and casual internet perusal.
Before you cringe, let me say that I'm aware that while many of the ideas behind advanced physics can be explained logically, nothing can really be contributed to the physics community without mathematical reasoning behind it. So I respect the experience of the more knowledgeable members here, and I'll try to keep my involvement focused on discussion and learning, and in so doing I hope to avoid deflating any intellectual momentum that develops in the threads.
But I do love to ponder the mechanisms at work behind the system of our everyday reality, and I hope that, while I don't speak the language, so to speak, we can share in our respect for the world around us, as it is surely a strange and fascinating place.
