Hi, I am a highschool physics student form the U.S, more specifically Florida. I am really happy to have found this forum, as it seems that none of my own peers are really interested in physics like I am, and my teacher doesn't really like it when I ask questions that go in depth into a particular subject. Like, one time I asked her what a photon was, and she told me that is was a discrete bundle of light. That didn't really seem to tell me anything about what a photon was, so I looked it up in my textbook. It said that a photon is "The quantum of electromagnetic enrgy". That seemed more definitive than her discrete bundle of light explanation.... Perhaps the best way to get an answer is to find it yourself and find people who have the same interest.... which is why I am here.

     I want to become a teacher sp that when I have a student that asks in depth questions, I can help him or her answer them. I would like to be a college teacher someday.
