Physics education research, electronic materials, and the musings of Christopher Moore, Ph.D.

I'm not a physics student (sorry) but I joined this site to get some help with specific issues I am facing as a programmer, which make me wish I paid attention in physics at school (or was it that the teacher couldn't make it interesting for me).  So forgive me if I ask silly questions or request information to be presented in such a way that the hard of thinking (like me) can comprehend.
