Physics education research, electronic materials, and the musings of Christopher Moore, Ph.D.

I am currently a junior who is pursuing a double major in math and political science.  I am interested in going to grad school in math, physics, or electrical engineering.  My question is what is the likelihood that I could pursue a masters in either physics or electrical engineering and do well, since I have no background in either subject.
