a penny is dropped from a 700 ft. high bridge. a) how long does it take for the penny to reach the ground below? b) what is the velocity of the penny upon impact?

use these:
a)
a=9.8m/s^2 (acceleration due to gravity)
s=ut + .5at^2 where s is final displacement (700ft... convert this to meters), u is initial displacemet =0
solve for t
b)
v=at since it is dropped from rest

Except that ignores air resistance, which assuming this is not just a homework question and it didn't say "and ignore air resistance," it's going to matter a lot.
