Hi All,

I have a small query (which I keep in a cage ), but seriously now ...

When you whirl a ball on a string around in a horizontal circle, can it be said to be in synchronous rotation as it always presents the same side to the centre of the circle?

An associate of mine says it isn't rotating, but I say it is.

Can you tell me which of us is right, and why please?
