wave particle duality examples in electrons

Hey, i'm hoping you can help me i have a particle physics exam tomorrow and i was going thorugh a past exam and i couldnt work out the answer to this question:

"State what is meant by the duality of electrons. Give one example of each type of behaviour."

now i know that the duality of electrons is all to do with the fact that particles behave as waves in some ways aswell... but i cant give an example of this in electrons... the mark scheme says:

"electrons behave as waves and as particles
waves – diffraction/interference
particles – collisions with atoms/deflection in an electric or magnetic field"

i dont want to just mimic the answer if the question comes up so could someone help me in understanding this?

cheers much,

Jamey
