The ocean called space is a theory of which attempts to explain physical phenomena most notably gravity. It is based on the hypothesis that space is not empty but is actually full with a particulate medium also known as aether. This aether as properties similar to water where it is attracted to itself and preferentially interacts with itself thus matter is driven together. This theory explains how gravitational potential energy is related to the force of gravity and how the equivalence principle is violated. I ask that you please keep an open mind and read it all before making judgment. Please leave your feedback!
The ocean called space
By Simon J. Takouridis
Space is a particulate medium with properties of that of a liquid. Matter is non-interacting with space thus there is the formation of a negative pressure gradient (negative pressure is defined as the pressure relative to the pressure of the local space in the absence of the object). This is because space has preferential interaction with itself. Gravitation may be described as a precipitation of insoluble material. It is analogous to oil (matter) in water (space). However a key difference is that matter is permeable to space (in varying degrees). Strength of negative pressure of an object is given by the surface area (of all elementary particles within the object) to volume ratio therefore higher density objects display greater surface area per volume and thus greater gravitational effects. The natural state of an object is a sphere because any deviation raises the gravitational potential energy (GPE). In fact, the natural state of any object is to collapse to impermeability and then into a point however this is prevented via the electrostatic forces. For this reason all objects are permeable to space at differing extents depending on the density.
Entrainment of space within objects is positively related to the density because a denser object would have greater obstruction. Objects may be carried by the medium, for example in a whirlpool of space as are the stars in the Milky Way (analogous to fish being displaced via moving the fish tank). An isolated system may be found in the eye of the storm due to the very low density space. Objects may move at slow velocities with very little resistance e.g. the planets in our solar system. Light propagating through space in close proximity to objects slows down due to the lower pressure/density surrounding. Diffusion force will overcome the gravitational force of objects at far distances.
The force of gravity on an object is determined by the net pressure upon it. The presence of an object (o1) on its own will foster the creation of a negative pressure. However the net force on o1 is zero (ignoring the constituent matter having an inward force) therefore it does not accelerate in any direction. It is only when in the presence of another object (o2) when the net pressure becomes imbalanced. That is, the pressure on o1 to the side of it where o2 is located will be lower than the opposing side, thus a net force is applied to o1, where there is an equal and opposite force on o2. Additionally, the presence of o1 in the vicinity of o2 will cause a pressure imbalance on o2 thus a net force, accompanied by an equal and opposite force on o1. An analogy can be a fisherman reeling in a fish where the fish also has a rod and is reeling in the fisherman.
When objects combine, there is a cumulative effect on the strength of the negative pressure created. However, any change in the total GPE i.e. by process of combining the objects, will result in a change in the total negative pressure. This is because the total GPE of a system is equal to the energy required to create the total negative pressure in the system, in essence these energies are one and the same thing. Extreme sensitivity is necessary to detect this violation of the equivalence principle because under normal observational circumstances e.g. a rock hitting the ground, it is two permeable objects that are converging, thus the drop in the GPE is extremely low. A large drop in GPE only occurs when a permeable object collapses to an impermeable object or if two impermeable objects (i.e. elementary particles) combine due to the relatively large displacement of space. A massive object has a far lower total GPE than the sum of all its constituents GPE (if the constituents were isolated from one another at a sizeable distance where its GPE/total negative pressure is at its maximum). Therefore smaller objects (e.g. nuclei) have far greater total negative pressure to mass (inertial) ratio. Consequently a strong nuclear force is expected. Note that the fundamental property of an elementary particle with respect to its ability to drive the formation of a negative pressure is its level of interaction with space.
