College Physics

The bolts on a car wheel require tightening to a torque of 90 Núm. If a 30 cm long wrench is used, what is the magnitude of the force required when the force is 53ø to the wrench?

Find some online resources that may help you. A lot of physics topic are being covered now online. You can also check some .edu sites with that topic. Hope that this will help.

Re: College Physics

This is a fairly simple ratio problem, except for the part where you write "when the force is 53 to the wrench?"  53 what to the wrench?    You just need to convert Newton*meters to Newton*centimeters to know the force required on the wrench.
