Gravity slows light's time but not its speed. That remains constant in free space. We must wait on light leaving gravity because it is going slower in slow time. This is Slow Physics of slow time.

If gravity does slow light's time, then light travels faster because speed=distance/time. Therefore if it leaves gravity the time factor would be more and so it would travel slower. This is contradictory to the theory stated above... I'm just using logic, I might be wrong though, because I'm no physicist.
