Singularities are places where time ends for anything in them. That means if Bob falls into a black hole, he literally won't have a future afterwards and only existed time-wise before falling in. But according to the Big Bang theory, the universe resulted from a singularity. This means that instead of time not existing in the "future direction" for objects in the singularity, time didn't exist in the "past-direction" for objects in the singularity. Does this mean singularities can only exist one one "side" of time? And if so what does this imply for the creation of the Big Bang singularity?
