Good Day

My name is Jason Cartwright.  I am 22 and a senior of the B.S. Physics program at the University of Texas expected graduation Fall 2005.  Besides physics I watch anime sometimes, do a little partying, and try to find a girlfriend.  Of my courses I enjoy Applications of Quantum Mechanics the most.  My favorit area of physics is elementary particles/field theory (string theory?).  I recommend anyone wanting to learn about elementary particles read 'Introduction to Elementary Particles' by David Griffiths, note that you need some background in quantum mechanics.  Long live bra-ket notation!

By the way, I would have loved to have a physics teacher like Chris in high school.  Instead of the soccer coach, who seemed like he was still stuck in high school and did a pretty lousy job.  I think we might have made it to Torque...pretty sad.  English teachers teaching CS, thats also really sad.  A school would be better off hiring me to teach CS than an English teacher, and I've also programmed extensively in MATLAB so I'm not just talking out my a$$.

I don't know about that. I'm pretty mean. wink

... try to find a girlfriend ...  I enjoy Applications of Quantum Mechanics

Hopefully the latter doesn't affect your search for the former too much. smile

Chemists are physicists who don't do math. smile
