Hadrons composed of quarks have only one quantum wave function. I believe the constituant quarks are stuck together and are infinitely close. The mass of the multiple quarks (2 or 3) gives the hadron wave function instead of 2 or 3 quark wave functions.
I believe the single wave function for a hadron proves that quarks are bound infinitely close to one another in a Single Wave Function.
