Can any help? strain potential energy question...

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this (very) easy question, which I cant seem to figure out...
Ive been asked to find the SI units for strain potential energy, and have been given the equation = E_s  = 1/2  k_s x^2

I know the final answer should be in Joules, expcept Im having some difficulty getting there..please can someone brainier than me help me out!!???big_smile
thanks!
