Hi,
Got a question regarding electrons in an electrical circuit.
If I have a battery connected to a wire (no bulbs, no resistors, etc - just a wire), the electrons will start moving from the "-ve" terminal of the battery to the "+ve" terminal.
Very soon, more and more electrons will arrive at the tip fo the wire at the "+ve" terminal.
Question: do the (wire) electrons at the end of the "+ve" terminal go *into* the battery, or remain inside the wire? Similarly, do electrons come *out* of the "-ve" terminal and enter into the wire?
Thks for your help!
