OK I'm having some trouble and this is the only place I see for help in such a short time.  I need a formula for the Power needed to hit a target a certain distance (x,y) away using a certain shot angle.  In the 2 Dimensional system, the wind can be blowing at any speed from 0 to 26.  Also, the wind angle can be any angle from 0 to 360.  Because it's 2D, there can only be the effects of headwind or tailwind (or Zero Wind).  It's a race between me and some of my friends --- One person already got the formula.  The power bar is divided into 4 so the maximum power that can be used is 4 bars.  If shot at angle 68 with 2.738 bars of power the projectile will land at exactly one screen away.  The winner of the race used 800 for the range of one screen being that the screen resolution is (800x600).  Please help me.

PS.  The wind angle and power never changes during flight of projectile.
