I've had to delete about 2-3 posts and ban 1-2 new members per day do to outright spamming. These spammers have gotten slick. In order to post, you must submit a valid email address and then follow a link within an email in order to activate an account. Apparently, there is some new spam software that automates all of this.
In some ways, I guess it is a good thing. The site is on track to receive over 25,000 visitors this month -- more than 800 visitors per day! Right now, the main page has a Google pagerank of 6/10 and the forum has a pagerank of 5/10. Good stuff. But a magnet to spammers.
If anyone spots spam, then please hit the "Report" button and let me know.
