You're here, so you're probably stuck on a physics problem. We love to help people understand physics, but please follow the following guidelines when posting in this forum:

•  This forum topic is for "Advanced Physics." This means any topic above and beyond what would typically be taught in a high-school level or first-year undergraduate course. If you have questions about introductory topics, please post them in the proper category.

•  Make your title descriptive. Do not simply scream "HELP!!!". Use a title that explains what you need help with, such as "What's the deal with Lagrangians?" or "I'm stuck on this Gauss's Law problem."

•  Do not just post your homework problems in the forum. If all you do is post a problem, you will get very little help. No one here will do your homework for you. Post the problem and explain what you've done so far. If you don't know where to start, then at least explain what you think the main concept is.

•  Give the LaTeX tags a try when entering equations. We've added some pretty simple buttons to help. It is much easier to follow your thought process when we can see equations.

•  If you think you've developed a new theory of everything, or proven Einstein wrong, or discovered some amazing way to make money and "get women" using quantum mechanics, then you are in the wrong place. Please air your views in the "New Theories" forum.
